Die Adapter verf\u00fcgen \u00fcber ein Au\u00dfengewinde und ein Innengewinde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das Au\u00dfengewinde eines Matchers entspricht einem anderen Gewindetyp als dem, der f\u00fcr den Anschluss an die Ger\u00e4teinstallation erforderlich ist. Der Adapter bietet das zum Anschluss der Ger\u00e4te und zum Schutz der elektrischen Leitungen erforderliche Innengewinde sowie die Verbindung von zwei Arten von Gewinden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein Matcher funktioniert sowohl mit Innen- als auch mit Au\u00dfengewinden unterschiedlicher Art, beispielsweise mit PG-Anschlussgewinden oder metrischen Gewinden.<br>Die Matcher bestehen aus Metall, insbesondere aus vernickeltem Messing.
