The adapters have a male thread and a female thread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The male thread of a matcher corresponds to a different type of thread than that required for connection to the equipment installation. The matcher provides the female thread necessary to connect the equipment and protect the electrical wiring, as well as connecting two types of threads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A matcher works with both female and male threads of different types, such as PG connection threads or Metric threads.<br>The matchers are made of metal, specifically nickel-plated brass.
