Metallic Cable Glands and accesories

Characteristics of metallic cable glands

A metallic cable gland (nickel-plated brass or inox) is a piece that allows compression sealing. It uses mechanical components and an axial force to compress an internal elastomer gasket inside a casing.

  • Fixes cable to its element
  • Prevents liquid or dust from entering inside the element
  • Unlike a simple rubber gasket, a cable gland is a compression sealing system
  • Creates a IP-68 watertight seal
